Clarion Collection Hotel Gabelshus is centrally located in a residential area amid beautiful town houses, embassies, lovely restaurants and cafés. The hotel was recently renovated, and is now a stylish and charming boutique hotel that dates back to 1912. Hotel Gabelshus has also one of Oslo´s great day spas. The relaxation area includes a sauna, steam room and free massage chairs. We offer complimentary breakfast and a light evening buffet while coffee, tea and fruit are always available. The terrace is a popular place for breakfast where you can enjoy a glass of wine or just relax after a busy day. Many cosy and comfortable saloons as well as a fireplace in one of the lounges creates a homely atmosphere. A small garden infront of the hotel enables outdoor drinks in the summer. Gabelshus is located in Skillebekk, an area with charming villas, embassies, fruitful gardens, charming cafe´s and exclusive boutiques. In the immediate vicinty you can find Bygdøy Alle, Oslo´s most stately street.... lined with oak tree's. A short walk leads you to the Royal residence - Slottet. Continuing you come to the heart of Oslo - Karl Johan with all it's shopping possibilities. Aker Brygge on the waterfront is also a short walk away.
